Pallet is a flat transport structure, which supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by a forklift, a pallet jack,a front loader, a jacking device, or an erect crane. A pallet is the structural foundation of a unit load which allows handling and storage efficiency. Goods or shipping containers are often placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink wrap and shipped. Since its invention in the twentieth century, its use has dramatically supplanted older forms of crating like the wooden box and the wooden barrel, as it works well with modern packaging like corrugated boxes and intermodal containers commonly used for bulk shipping.

1. Leg blockage: Strengthening the overall load-bearing capacity of the pallet is beneficial for forklift operation.
2. Tray feet: They are the most important load-bearing component of the tray, providing a solid and sturdy guarantee.
3. Protective square tubes: There are two square tubes at both ends of the fork direction to reduce damage to the tray due to frequent operations.
4. Edge banding: Edge banding enhances the protection of the panel and reduces damage.

The load-bearing capacity of steel pallets

1. Load refers to the larger net weight that can be lifted at once by an electric forklift or a manual hydraulic pallet electric transport vehicle. The general storage shelf pallets can carry a load of 1.5T-2T, the standard pallets can carry a load of 1T, and the ultra light pallets can carry a load of 0.5T.
2. The static load test refers to the larger net weight that the steel tray at the bottom of the stack can bear. Unlike wood plastic pallets, steel pallets have higher stiffness and greater dynamic loads.
3. The load-bearing capacity of storage shelves refers to the larger net weight allowed when placing goods packaged on steel pallets at the storage shelves.
4. It is important to pay attention to the differences in load, static load tests, and the load of storage shelves compared to the load of vertical warehouses. The difference in bearing capacity is closely related to the structure of storage shelves, working temperature, and storage logistics cycle time. Generally, steel pallets can carry a load of 0.7T-1T on the pallet shelf, while the standard steel pallet can carry a load of 0.4T-0.6T.
