Putting conventional pallet racking on a motorised mobile base will give you what is known as a mobile pallet racking system ensuring any wasted 'dead' space is fully utilised enabling you a greater storage capacity.
The mobile pallet racking is composed of conventional pallet racking installed on mobile bases, allowing opening and closing of the aisles. Where compact storage is need while keeping a high degree of accessibility to the stored products, mobile racking may be the best solution, especially where storage space is expensive, for example in cold stores. Mobile racking saves considerable space as the number of aisles is reduced to a minimum.Conventional static racking requires fixed aisles between racks, causing quite some redundant space. A mobile racking system is very efficient and only needs one aisle, creating a much higher warehouse industrial storage capacity.

Working Principle

Two rows of back-to-back racks are installed on the mobile base in a group, in a multi-group arrangement, each base is equipped with multiple rollers and drive motors. Two ways to lay the floor rails:
1. Laying of floor rails on existing ground (it is necessary to lay the rails in the ground pits and then carry out secondary cement pouring, and use after the cement ground is hardened)
2. Laying the floor rail on the ground floor of the new warehouse (directly when the warehouse floor is built, the floor rail is pre-buried, and the ground and floor rails are leveled flat)

The first layer of concrete is poured to a depth of 100MM and then the floor rail is laid, and then the second layer is poured to the horizontal plane.

The mobile rack is operated manually or automatically by means of an integrated PLC system, The PLC software may be adapted to the client's specific needs or linked to client's WMS.
